Adn.Transfer Abutment-Angeled
Transfer Abutment Angled (Israel-Made) is a critical component used in dental implant prosthetics to accurately capture the position and angulation of angled implants during the impression phase. Specifically designed for use with leading Israeli implant systems such as MIS®, Alpha-Bio®, Adin®, and others, this component ensures precise transfer of the implant’s position from the oral cavity to the working model in the dental laboratory.
The angled transfer abutment is primarily used in cases where implants are placed with a degree of angulation, either due to anatomical constraints or for prosthetic alignment. Its design compensates for the implant's deviation from the vertical axis, allowing for proper impression taking even in challenging implant placements such as the anterior maxilla or posterior mandible.
Manufactured from high-quality medical-grade titanium or stainless steel, the abutment offers excellent biocompatibility and mechanical strength. It comes in various angulations—typically 15°, 25°, or 30°—to match the clinical needs and improve the prosthetic outcome. The angled geometry helps maintain the ideal path of insertion for the final prosthesis, improving aesthetics and functional results.
The hex or internal connection at the base of the transfer abutment ensures a secure and stable fit with the implant platform, eliminating rotation during impression taking. Available for open-tray (direct) or closed-tray (indirect) impression techniques, the angled transfer abutment supports versatility in prosthetic planning.
Clinicians benefit from its precision-milled surfaces, easy handling, and compatibility with a wide range of impression materials. Its color-coded design often simplifies identification of the angulation or connection type, reducing chairside errors.
